Box (Buxus Sempervirens) is a slow growing hedging plant that is ideal for border hedging as they are very slow growing. Because of the very small leaves belonging to Box plants they make very good miniture hedges. If left unclipped, however, the plants will reach around 7 meters, after 40 years or so! These plants don’t mind either shade or full sunlight and will grow well in well drained soil. The annual rate of growth is up to 20cm per year. These are plants are also ideal candidates for topiary.
We stock rootballed Box but also are sometimes able to supply potgrown plants. Our sizes are below, for prices or questions about these plants please give us a call on 0193254135 or pop us an email to englishhedging@gmail.com.
